Roasted Brussel Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients: – 1 pound Brussels sprouts – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) – 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends of the sprouts and remove any loose or discolored outer leaves.

Cut the Brussels sprouts in half lengthwise and place them in a large mixing bowl.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour the mixture over the Brussels sprouts and toss until they are evenly coated.

Spread the Brussels sprouts out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not too crowded.

Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and golden brown, stirring halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.

Once the Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish.
