Perfect Roasted Carrots Recipe

Ingredients: – 1 pound of fresh carrots, peeled and trimmed – 2 tablespoons of olive oil – 1 teaspoon of garlic powder – 1 teaspoon of dried thyme – Salt and pepper to taste – Optional: fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Wash, peel, and trim the carrots. Cut them into uniform pieces, about 2 inches in length, for even roasting.

In a large bowl, toss the carrot pieces with olive oil until they are evenly coated.

Sprinkle the carrots with garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss again to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.

Arrange the seasoned carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Roast the carrots in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and caramelized around the edges. 

Once roasted, remove the carrots from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
