Mai Tai Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 2 ounces (60ml) white rum 2. 1 ounce (30ml) dark rum 3. 3/4 ounce (22ml) lime juice, freshly squeezed 4. 1/2 ounce (15ml) orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec) 5. 1/2 ounce (15ml) Orgeat syrup 6. 1/2 ounce (15ml) simple syrup 7. Crushed ice 8. Mint sprigs, for garnish 9. Pineapple wedges, for garnish

Instructions: 1. Prepare Your Glass: Fill a glass with crushed ice to chill it while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the white rum, dark rum, lime juice, orange liqueur, Orgeat syrup, and simple syrup. 

Shake: Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the mixture. 

Strain: Discard the ice from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail into it. 

1. Garnish: Garnish with a sprig of mint, pineapple wedge, and a maraschino cherry. 2. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Mai Tai!

Optional Variation: For an added touch, you can float a small amount of dark rum on top of the cocktail before garnishing.
