GRUYERE BAKED SCALLOPED POTATOES RECIPE

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Add the sliced potatoes and toss to coat.

Layer the potatoes in a 9x13 inch baking dish, alternating with the grated Gruyere cheese.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden brown.
