Greek Salad Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 2 large ripe tomatoes, diced 2. 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped 3. 1 red onion, thinly sliced 4. 1 green bell pepper, seeded and diced 5. 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted 6. 200g feta cheese, crumbled 7. 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 8. 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 9. 1 teaspoon dried oregano 10. Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Vegetables: – Dice the tomatoes and cucumber into bite-sized pieces. – Thinly slice the red onion and dice the green bell pepper.

Add Kalamata Olives: – Pit the Kalamata olives if they are not already pitted. – Add the olives to the bowl with the vegetables.

Crumble Feta Cheese: – Crumble the feta cheese into small pieces. – Sprinkle the crumbled feta over the vegetables in the mixing bowl.

Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Dress the Salad: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients in the mixing bowl.

Toss Gently: – Using salad tongs or two large spoons, gently toss the salad until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

Serve and Enjoy: – Transfer the Greek salad to a serving dish or individual plates. – Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
