Fresh Strawberry Cake Recipe

Ingredients: – 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1/2 cup milk – 2 large eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer or stand mixer.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated. Then, add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Gently fold in the chopped strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
