Edible Cookie Dough Recipe

Ingredients 1 cup all-purpose flour ¾ cup packed brown sugar ½ cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons milk ½ cup milk chocolate chips ½ cup mini chocolate chips

To heat-treat your flour for safe use, place it in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave the flour for 1 minute and 15 seconds, stirring it every 15 seconds to ensure even heating. Set aside.

1. In a large bowl, beat together sugar and butter using an electric mixer until creamy. 2. Beat in vanilla extract and salt until well combined.

Add the heat-treated flour to the mixture and mix until a crumbly dough forms. Stir in milk until the dough is just combined.

Fold in both milk chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips into the dough until evenly distributed.

Editor's Note: There is a potential risk of foodborne illness from consuming raw flour. Follow Step 1 to heat-treat your flour for safety.

If you don't have a microwave, spread the flour on a baking sheet and toast it in an oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 to 6 minutes.
