Crawfish Bread Recipe

Ingredients 1 loaf French bread 1 tablespoon butter 1 medium onion chopped 1 stalk celery chopped 1 medium bell pepper chopped 4 cloves garlic minced 1 pound cooked crawfish tails roughly chopped 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning 8 oz cream cheese softened ½ cup mayo 1 teaspoon Creole mustard or use spicy brown mustard

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the French bread baguette in half lengthwise.


Optionally, some of the bread can be removed so that it can be filled. Prepare it in a baking dish.

Melt butter on medium heat in large saucepan; throw in onion, celery and bell pepper. Cook for five minutes until they soften.

Add Crawfish entrails and Cajun seasoning. Continue to stir occasionally for two to three minutes while preparing this dish.

Whisk in cream cheese after about two more minutes until melted and incorporated well.

Put ingredients for pan into a mixing basin; whisk together mustard, mayonnaise ad cheese shreds; mix well;

Preheat Oven on Broil Setting then broil crawfish bread until topping is fragrant and bread is slightly toasted.
