Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 3. 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 4. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 5. 3 tablespoons milk 6. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 7. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 8. Pinch of salt

Instructions: 1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract into the mug. Stir until the mixture is smooth and no lumps remain. 

Mix Thoroughly: Ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated, scraping down the sides of the mug with a spoon if needed. 

Microwave: Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle.  

Check for Doneness: Insert a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, the cake is done. If not, microwave for an additional 15 to 30 seconds. 

Cool: Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute before enjoying. Be cautious as the mug will be hot. 

Add Toppings (Optional): Sprinkle your favorite toppings such as whipped cream, chocolate chips, or powdered sugar over the cake for an extra indulgent touch.
