Buttery Garlic Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed 2. 2 tablespoons butter 3. 3 cloves garlic, minced 4. Salt and pepper to taste 5. Lemon zest (optional, for garnish)

Instructions: 1. Prep the Green Beans: Rinse the green beans under cold water and trim off the ends.

Boil the Green Beans: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender. Drain and set aside. 

Melt Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. 

Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic. 

Add Green Beans: Add the cooked green beans to the skillet with the garlic butter. 

Serve: Transfer the green beans to a serving dish, garnish with lemon zest if desired, and serve hot.
