Best French Toast Recipe

– ⅔ cup milk – 2 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (Optional) – ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (Optional) – salt to taste – 6 thick slices bread – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, or more as needed


First, mix together some milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a shallow bowl.

Next, lightly butter a pan and heat it up on the stove over medium-high heat.

Then, dip slices of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides get coated.
