Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

– 1 cup butter, softened – 1 cup white sugar – 1 cup packed brown sugar – 2 egg – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 2 teaspoons hot water – ½ teaspoon salt – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 2 cups semisweet chocolate chip – 1 cup chopped walnut

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a big bowl, use an electric mixer to blend softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until it's smooth.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, coconut sugar, and salt. Cook, stirring often, until the butter is melted and the mixture is hot but not simmering.

Dissolve baking soda in hot water, then add it to the batter along with some salt.

Mix in flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts until everything is evenly combined.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, keeping them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for around 10 minutes, until the edges are nicely browned.

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a bit before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
