Basic Chicken Soup Recipe

Start by heating a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions, carrots, and celery to the pot and sauté until the vegetables are tender.

Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and add boneless, skinless chicken breasts to the pot. Simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.

Add any additional vegetables you like, such as potatoes or green beans. Simmer until the vegetables are tender.
