Baked Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients: 1. 1 pound (450g) spaghetti 2. 1 tablespoon olive oil 3. 1 onion, diced 4. 3 cloves garlic, minced 5. 1 pound (450g) ground beef 6. 1 can (24 ounces) of your favorite spaghetti sauce 7. 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 8. Salt and pepper to taste 9. Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant and onions are translucent.

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Stir in the spaghetti sauce and cooked spaghetti until well combined. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the spaghetti.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
