Air Fried Everything Bagel Tofu Tenders

INGREDIENTS 14 oz extra firm tofu Cooking spray oil For the Batter: 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk 3 tbsp cornstarch 1 tsp smoked paprika For the Breading: 1 cup almond flour 4 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. Place the block of tofu between paper towels and top it with some heavy pans or books. Let it press for 30 to 40 minutes.

While the tofu is being pressed, prepare the batter and breading. In a medium bowl, combine the almond milk, cornstarch, and smoked paprika.

Dip each tofu slice into the batter mixture using one hand, then transfer it to the breading bowl and use the other hand to coat it with the almond flour and everything bagel seasoning mixture.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and set the timer for 15 minutes.

Once the air fryer is preheated, lightly spray the tofu slices with non-stick cooking oil and place them into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Halfway through the cooking time, shake the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.

Once the tofu is crispy and golden brown, remove it from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
